Henley Regatta is the home of classic British charm, striped blazers, Panama hats, and flowing summer dresses - all set against the backdrop of the River Thames that is festooned with an array of tents, marquees, bars, and hospitality that defines the Henley Royal Regatta experience.

The 2023 Regatta was shown in 2024 with a huge montage that captured the whole event using over 1,500 high resolution images to enable every detail to be explored. The 2024 Regatta was then shown in a follow up exhibition.

Photographed in 2024 this Montage is all about the people, packed with all the merriment and effervescence that are hallmarks of this classic English Social event.

A lost tradition from the 1920's was to watch the races from a huge crowd of boats on the river, this work recreates this and brings the boats back.

Jumping forward to the 1960's the Regatta brass band picks up some

'Sgt Pepper' vibes to add to the the rich colours used throughout the artwork
